New Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps, Built in Houston

Precise Mechanical manufactures new liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors in Houston, Texas: drop-in replacements for the most common Nash series, the PM 5986 line for Somarakis SV and HV frames, and complete packaged systems built around them. Every pump is made by the same shop that has rebuilt these designs since 2003, 4,395 jobs and counting, which is why the new units fit the existing baseplate and piping with little or no modification.

What we build

Nash replacement pumps. New drop-in units for the Nash CL, 2BE, AT, SC, 904 and HC series, dimensionally interchangeable with the originals so a changeout is a lift, not a re-pipe. Model coverage, construction options and how to spec one are on the Nash replacement vacuum pumps page.

PM 5986 pumps for Somarakis SV and HV series. Our own liquid ring design, built from 80 to 28,000 CFM in cast iron through titanium, as a direct replacement for Somarakis pumps and compressors. Details and material options are on the Somarakis replacement pumps page.

Why buy new from an independent manufacturer

A factory lead time measured in months, a frame the OEM has discontinued, or a material upgrade the OEM will not quote are the usual reasons a plant comes to us for a new pump. Because we also rebuild and stock exchange units for the same frames, we can tell you plainly when new is the right answer and when it is not. Materials and construction

Standard construction is cast iron with carbon steel shafts; corrosive and sour services are built in 304L or 316L stainless, duplex, or titanium, with cladding on wear surfaces where that is the better value. Mechanical seals, bearing arrangements, coatings and porting are specified to the service conditions you give us, and every pump is individually run and tested before it ships, with its performance curve included.
