An exchange is a swap, not a repair. The unit you receive has already been through our seven-step repair process, from teardown and inspection through remanufacturing, tolerance restoration, assembly and final inspection, and it is sitting on the shelf when you call.

1. You call with the nameplate data. Manufacturer, model, serial number and a photo of the nameplate are enough for us to confirm which exchange unit matches your pump. We check that the frame size, rotation, cone arrangement and connection orientation are the same.
2. We ship the rebuilt unit. The exchange pump is crated and shipped from Houston. Emergency calls go to Ken at 713-201-1589, and an in-stock unit moves as fast as the freight can be arranged.
3. You install and run. Because exchange units are the same series and frame size as the pump they replace, they go onto the existing base and into the existing piping. Alignment and seal water connections are the only field work.
4. You return the core. After changeout, the failed pump is crated and shipped back to Houston. We inspect it, and it enters our rebuild queue to become the next exchange unit on the shelf.

Exchange pricing is quoted as the exchange price with a core credit applied when the core arrives in rebuildable condition.

The series below are the ones we commonly keep in inventory. Frame sizes move in and out as units ship and cores are rebuilt, so call to confirm that the specific size you need is available today.

When your exact frame size is not on the shelf, there are two alternatives. We can pull the nearest in-stock unit forward in the rebuild queue, or we can supply a new Precise-manufactured drop-in replacement built to the same footprint.
